New digital health services for people over 70

An initiative to introduce elements of health prevention for people over 70 years old. Data analysis was carried out from the NAIHA Home Health Care, proposing a health programme to the participants based in Digital Health Services. A living lab carried out in rural and medium-sized towns of approximately 60,000 people, involving the Development Agency and Municipal Councils of the area. This provides a more complete vision of the needs of both associations and users, and municipalities on the value proposition.

Adaptation pilot of the Basque Public Telecare Service for people with cognitive impairment and their families.

In collaboration with Alzheimer’s Associations and families of the Basque Country.
Around 5 million people suffer from dementia in Spain, including repercussions for family caregivers. Public Telecare Service of the Basque Country together with TUNSTALL was adapted for people with cognitive impairment, and also their families. I n June 2019, the foundation of the pilot began with the associations and participating families. Then the implementation of the adapted service was carried out in December 2019 and June 2020.

What can technology offer in the home healthcare sector?

Research work carried out in 2014 on the new opportunities of the socio-sanitary sector at home. The analysis was structured in two axes: the social aspects, analysing social initiatives that cover needs for the elderly in case of dependency. The other axis is the technological and economic side of care. Analysing innovative, technological proposals and public and private services within the care economy.
